Logan Walcutt Milestone 1


Hello! Logan Here, for this milestone I was working on research for Stat and leveling systems across numerous game. I also worked on planning what type of weapons we would use and creating basic concept art for them. my last goal for this milestone was the stats or attributes the player and enemies would be effected and scaled by.

We currently have plans for 2 major types of weapons, One handed and two handed weapons, as well as sub types such as swords, daggers and pole arms.

Swords can include anything from your traditional medieval sword, to long swords or great swords, Rapiers and Katanas have also been considered.

Pole Arms can include anything from Lances, Spears, Halberds.

Our current Stats or Attributes are as follows

Reinforcement: (Vitality) this affects your HP

Coolant Temperature: (Endurance) this affects your endurance or stamina

Dexterity: This affects your movement speed,  in the future this may also affect dodge speed and jump height however that decision is still in consideration.

Strength: This affects the damage output.

Charm: (Charisma) this affects how the player can interact with traders or other NPCs

Intelligence: This currently affects the maximum magical capacity & or Magical resistance, this stat is still in development for what we want it to do.

Weight Limit: (Capacity) this affects what the player can actively hold, this is similar to how the dark souls or Elden ring inventory works, only equipped items affect your weight limit.
