Seth and Logan: Milestone 3 - Weapon System
Hello this a Devlog from Seth and Logan.
We created a Weapon System using scriptable objects that we can create our weapons more modularity than needing to program each weapon individually. We created it so that for each attack that the weapon has can have different animations, Force for how much the player is pushed forward, knockback from the enemy receiving the attack, damage each hit will do and combo data like time after the attack the player will have to give their next input before they can't continue the combo.
This system is still in development and will be overhauled later on as our group sets up different weapon types and creating different weapon behaviors but this is a start to a system that will support a wide array of weapons to be used.
